**LS1-NOTE1** Note the base (what we call standard) engine shown on the graph above is a 220kW engine that was fitted with HM extractors and received the best fuel and ignition mapping possible. Along with all other optimum bolt on accessories adding to performance to make our comparisons as realistic as possible. With this extra tuning etc. we were able to achieve 285kW out of the standard engine.

By doing this you are ensured that the gains quoted are real gains and not just improvements via a good tuneup / bolt on accessories etc. 

All before and after testing was performed with open pipes eliminating the variables of who produces the best cats and mufflers etc........
