Engine Assembler Position Available

An opportunity exists for a full time V8 engine assembler in one of Australia's leading high performance engine building companies.

To be a success in this challenging role, you will have significant experience in engine assembly & preparation, ideally with a strong background in high performance engine machining.

You will be enthusiastic, flexible and keen to contribute to the success of our engine program.

You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in engine assembly.

You will be methodical with a keen eye for detail.

You must be proficient with dial bore gauges and micrometers.

You must know how to degree in camshafts, check piston to valve clearances, check & setup rocker geometry

You must know how to check and adjust oil clearances.

You must know how to fit V8 cam bearings.

You must know how to fit pistons to conrods.

You must be prepared to fill out a detailed report during assembly.

Finally, you must be an Australian resident, or already have a valid Australian working visa to apply.
