ASSEMBLED CYLINDER HEADS

These CNC ported Holden VN-VT cylinder heads have enough airflow to produce over 480HP normally aspirated. To make these heads as cost effective as possible we only port the intake bowl and then blend into the runner. The intake receives what we call a pocket port, the exhaust side of the head however receives a full port to rectify the bad flowing OEM exhaust port.
We’ve been porting VN-VT cylinder heads like this for years on our 355 Silver Accelerator engines that produce 440HP at only 6000 RPM with a relatively small hydraulic camshaft. These heads have ran 11.8’s in a 355ci VN statesman with OEM twin throttle body intake. Even with an OEM single throttle body intake on a 355 ci engine these heads have produced enough power to run low 12’s in a full body weight VN sedan.
LIke we’ve been saying for years to our customers… Airflow isn’t everything and there’s no point in paying for porting if you can make the desired power with less porting.
Heads are crack tested then reconditoned using all new Genuine K-LIne bronze valve guides which are honed to exact clearance. OEM 1.94 x 1.6 Black valves are backcut and valve seats are recut using mutli angle / radius cutters. Heads are surface milled and then final washed. In the assembly process we also measure and adust every single installed height to achieve the desired spring pressures.
Heads are assembled with springs to suit a hydraulic camshaft with up to .525″ lift for the use with OEM Rockers Only.

If using Roller Rockers Valve Springs Must Be Upgraded to Isky 8005A Springs and 10 Degree Chrome Moly Retainers.
