HOLDEN VN CNC RACEPORT ASSEMBLED CYLINDER HEADS
Recommended Use & Info:
These heads are CNC ported to suit a larger 2.02" intake valve and are primarily recommended for 355 + cubic inch engines that will be revved to 6500+ RPM.
Results
On a 355 c.i motor on our Engine Dyno these cylinder heads have produced 459 Ftlbs and 557 HP @ 7300 rpm with a "street" roller camshaft, Edelbrock Victor JNR intake and 750cfm Holley Street HP Carby.
In a race engine with more compression and an aggressive true solid roller camshaft 600HP would be possible.
On the track these heads have ran:
10.50 @ 127 in a LH Torana. ( Carburetted with single plane Harrop intake )
10.80 @ 123 MPH in a Full body VN Street Driven commodore - ( Twin throttle body injected. )
Heads are crack tested then ported in our 5 Axis CNC machining centre. Whilst still in our CNC the cylinder heads are also machined for screw in studs and the spring pads are cut to suit ISKY dual with dampner springs. All new Genuine K-LIne bronze valve guides are fitted which they are then honed to exact clearance. New Stainless Steel valves are backcut and valve seats are recut using mutli angle / radius cutters. Heads are surface milled and then final washed. In the assembly process we also measure and adust every single installed height to achieve the desired spring pressures.Heads are assembled with springs to suit either a flat tappet ( solid ) camshaft or our hassle free street roller camshaft.
